Athlete of the Week
Our athlete of the week is in San Antonio tonight, and his play is a big reason why his team has made it this far.
It’s hard to pin a whole team’s success on one player but when you’re talking about Sandcrab basketball it’s hard not pin the team’s success on Isaac Cardona. In last week’s playoff game against ray he dropped 36 points to advance his team to the regional quarterfinals 36 points a season high, not a career high, which would be 42. Isaac has been a powerhouse athlete for district 30 4-a basketball for the past few years, and Cardona wants nothing more than to take his talents to the next level.
