Phoenix, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona Diamondbacks center fielder A.J. Pollock suffered a fractured right hand in Saturday's game against the Cincinnati Reds.

In the eighth inning, Pollock was hit in the hand by a pitch from Johnny Cueto. He left the game and was replaced on base by Nick Evans.

"I don't know the exact location but it's broke," said Arizona manager Kirk Gibson. "Now it's just a matter of whether he needs surgery or not."

Pollock is batting .316 with six homers and 15 RBI this season.
