Isaac Cardona of Calhoun is the 30-4A boys basketball most valuable player. Cardona led the Sandcrabs to the Regional tournament for the first time in six years, and the coach of the Crabs, Aaron Anderson, was named 30-4A coach of the year. Akeem Green of West was named defensive player of the year, while freshman teammate Ruben Trevino was named Newcomer of the year. First team All-District selections include Jason Alonzo and Ryan Jackson from Calhoun, and Darien Henry and James Murphy from West. Second team picks include Taylor Lee from the Sandcrabs and two Titans, Xavier Ellis and Christian Herring.
