Megan Carter tossed a perfect game Thursday and Alicia Fikac had a no-hitter as the University of Houston-Victoria pitching duo combined to keep Texas College hitless over 10 innings in a pair of 23-0 victories.

Fikac tossed her first collegiate no-hitter in the opening game to improve to 4-0 on the season. She was backed by a pair of home runs from Ashley Shannon and another home run from Marley Moehrig.

Carter didn't need much offense in Game 2 as she fashioned together UHV's second perfect game as the Jaguars improved to 15-17 on the season.

The no-hitters and perfect game were the first for a UHV pitcher since Emily Bergstrom tossed a perfect game against Huston-Tillotson on April 12, 2011. The feats were also the sixth and seventh no-hitters recorded by the UHV pitching staff in six years.

The 23 runs were also the most runs a UHV team has scored in a game since plating 21 against Texas College on Feb. 14, 2009
