Generals Lose Again to the Bombers

It was time for the Generals to try to break a four-game losing streak Friday night.

The Generals took on the TCL-leading Brazos Valley Bombers. It was top of the fourth, no score, until Chase Angell gave up the RBI single to Andy Smith. Brett Cotton tried to make it 2-0, but Brandon Hannon's throw to Aaron Morgan was on target for the out. Top of the fifth, Bombers threatening again, Patrick McLennan hits a nubber off Angell's glove scoring a run to make it 3-0. Romeo Cortina's two-run homer was not enough to keep the Generals from losing again, 5-2.

Saturday night, the Generals host the Texas Marshals.
