Edna girls basketball won in district home action Tuesday night. The Cowgirls beat state-ranked Goliad, 57-47. Shayna Palacios led Edna with 20 points. The Cowgirls now face Industrial in a district third place playoff Friday night at 6:30 at the VISD District Event Center.
