Our athlete of the week has been called the pulse of her team. That comment came from her head coach.
Kelsea Kalick is a beast and the Warriors know it. Which is why Kalick leads her team is kills, in the Callen game last Friday she put up 24 of them, but it’s not just one performance in district that is impressive. Since the start of the Warrior volleyball program West has never lost a game, ever, and Kalick has been a part of every single win.
Quite a luxury for head coach of the Warriors Sandy Longoria.
Kalich the Warrior’s Outside Hitter said, “I definitely trust all of my teammates to set me up if the ball goes in the back I know a Labero will be there. I just think we have a very trustworthy team I know that nobody is going to their best.”
With every game the warriors win in district there gets to be more pressure, but for Kalick, no pressure no diamonds. The bigger games is where she shines.
