Tornado Training
Tornado and hurricane season are just around the corner and the Red Cross wants you to be prepared. The organization is currently looking for 20 volunteers ages 18 and up to become trained in disaster assessment.Red Cross said volunteers will go through an orientation and about three courses to determine whether or not an emergency exists, how many families are affected, and how many volunteers are needed. The Red Cross said they want to train the volunteers so they are ready to participate in a tornado disaster drill that will take place March 2nd.
