Tip-A-Cop

Thursday night law enforcement all over Texas including right here in Victoria were doing their part to raise money for Special Olympics.

The second annual Tip-A-Cop was held earlier Thursday evening at Texas Roadhouse. Local officers went from table to table to ask for donations that will go towards expenses for those who Special Olympics athletes. Special Olympics provide sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

What a great contribution to the Victoria Special Olympics. These guys and girls are a great bunch of people and truly enjoy the sports. Thanks to the Roadhouse, Officer Wright and the customers that contributed to make a bunch of kids/adults happy.

Congratulations and a "BIG" thanks to Roadhouse and sheriff's officer Luke Wright. Officer Wright did a great service to the Victoria Special Olympics athletes. Finally, a great big "Thank You" to the Roadhouse customers that made the contributions that were significant.
