Sweetheart Charity Ball
Valentine's Day is not just about roses and chocolates for those who don't know where their next meal is coming from. So the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent has taken this opportunity to raise money to feed community families in need.
The third annual Sweetheart Charity Ball will be held Thursday night at the Spring Creek Place Event Center. The evening will feature music, dinner, and dancing with a live and silent auction, and it’s all for a good cause. Over $24,000 was raised for the food bank last year. This year's ball started at six p.m. but goes until ten. Tickets are $120 per couple and can be purchased at the door.
