Santa Rosa Accident

Two drivers will have to pay up after a two vehicle accident in the downtown Victoria lands a passenger in the hospital.

Victoria police said the driver of a silver SUV was headed northbound on Navarro when the driver of a gold pickup ran the stop sign at Santa Rosa. The SUV clipped the bed of the pickup truck, spinning it around, where it hit a street sign and came to rest across the roadway. A person in the pickup was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pickup was given a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign and the driver of the SUV was ticketed for driving with an invalid license.
