New Delivery Schedule
There will be no more Saturday mail delivery. According to the United States Postal Service, in August, mail will only be delivered to homes Monday through Friday.
Packages, however, will continue to be delivered six days a week. So will mail addressed to P.O. boxes. Post offices currently open on Saturdays will also remain open. The move is expected to save USPS approximately two billion dollars a year. The United States Postal Service plans to transition to this new delivery schedule during the week of August 5th, 2013.
