Livestock Show
One of Victoria’s biggest events is gearing up Friday. The 67th annual Victoria Livestock Show begins February 28th and will go on until March 3rd. The show is expected to bring in dozens of tourist and outside money to the Victoria area. Victoria convention and visitors Bureau Director La Rue Roth said the Livestock Show is a highly anticipated event that's certain to bring in lots of folks to the area. She said for the pasts 7 weeks the Livestock Show was the most searched event online. The event includes a carnival, a parade, a pageant, livestock judging competitions, and much more. Roth said the event has already brought business to Victoria restaurants, retail shops, and hotels and that the parade begins Friday downtown at 10 a.m. For more information about the events visit www.victorialivestockshow.com
