Livestock Show Auction Results
Monday was the final night of one of the biggest events in Victoria, the Livestock Show, now in its 67th year. The Livestock auction was going on all Monday evening, where local students are hoping to bring home the bacon for raising some bacon and other animals which they sell.
According to the auction chairman Billie Hessler the animals included steer pigs chicks goats and rabbits. Someone bought a steer for 14-thousand dollars and another person bought a pig for 6-thousand dollars. She said last year they made over 500 thousand dollars through the auction and hope to break that this year.
