If you out at Coleto Creek please, watch out for gators. Officials there said they have close to a hundred alligators at the lake. They said this is the time of year where the gators are most active but don't worry partiers they usually shy away when the lake is busy. Officials there added the gators typically hang out in the back of the lake in the shallow coves. If you see one: avoid the area May and June is the time of year when female alligators build a nest so they could get aggressive in order to chase folks away so they said to be cautious.
