Fire Insurance
According to Michelle Hernandez with State Farm, getting homeowners or renters insurance is important. She said renters insurance covers everything in the home, but the dwelling itself would be covered by the landlord and that a homeowner's policy covers both. Hernandez added that in the past two years they have seen more fires than ever before.
