Eagle Ford Shale has created many good jobs. However the damage the big rigs have done on the roads has many people upset. Dewitt County resident Yolanda Gonzalez Boone says the roads have a lot of pot holes and they have damaged her vehicle. Dewitt County Judge Daryl Fowler says they are in the crosshairs of the Eagle Ford traffic. He says the roads were not designed to handle the weight of the trucks. Boone says she thinks the truck companies need to pay for their share of the damage. Laura McDaniel lives in Austin but was driving through Dewitt County. She says she thought there was something wrong with her vehicle. However it was actually the damaged roads.
