Cuero’s New Hotels
Cuero's oil boom has breathed life into the tiny turkey capital bringing in hundreds of jobs and bodies to fill them. When it comes to housing these workers, many oil companies look to hotels to do the job. However, with a limited number of hotel rooms in Cuero, those companies are having a hard time housing their employees.
Hundreds of cars roll into Cuero each day and many of them just passing through, but some of them are here to stay. Six new hotels are possibly making their way to Cuero and this means around 450 new hotel rooms will be added to the area. The Texas Inn has recently opened, and five more are on the horizon, a La Quinta, a Holiday Inn, a Value Inn, a Tex Inn, and a Yonder Inn. The Value Inn and the Tex Inn will be the first to start construction, both hoping to begin in the coming weeks.
