Yorktown Fire

Thursday night, a Yorktown institution is nothing more than ash and rubble after it went up in flames overnight.

It happened early Thursday morning at the Texas Outpost off of highway 72. Fire departments worked for hours trying to put out the blaze, but it was a total loss. It took fire fighters close to 8 hours to put out the fire which officials said it is unusual but they wouldn't comment any further on the cause.  We’ll be bring you more information as it becomes available.
