Walmart Stalker Caught with Help from KAVU
In Port Lavaca, police have found the man they believe is responsible for assaulting a woman at Walmart.
Port Lavaca police said thanks to our original broadcast of the story earlier this month, they received a tip that led to the identification and arrest of the offender caught on Walmart surveillance cameras. Police learned where his vehicle was parked during the day, and through the truck's registration, matched his driver's license photo to the image found on Walmart's footage. Police then arrested Waleed Abdulmajeed Al Salim on March 15th on a warrant for assault by contact. At the police station, Al Salim implicated himself in the assault, and was transported to the Calhoun County Jail.
