Junk Yard Fire

Thick black smoke could be seen in the sky for miles Tuesday afternoon because seven vehicles caught fire.

Just before one o'clock, Victoria fire crews responded to a junk yard fire on the 200 block of West Mocking Bird near Main Street. When they arrived there were seven vehicles up in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fires. No one was injured. Fire officials are still investigating what caused the fire.
