The Holiday Express has made it to the Crossroads!
The "Kansas City Southern Train" with Santa and his elves onboard made a stop in Edna Monday night.
It chugged into Victoria on Sunday, then rolled into Edna on Monday.
This is the 13th annual run for the Holiday Express.
It's a six car train that brings Santa Clause and his elves to communities across our region of the U.S.
At the stops, gift cards are given to the Salvation Army to provide warm clothing and more for children in need.
One seven year old said he loved the train so much, he wanted to take it home
“I want to buy it because it's so big and cool. It had cool trains in it. And it also had cities and little trains and big ones and cars,” Cole Mayfield said.
The festive locomotive will make its last Crossroads stop at Evans Park in El Campo Wednesday at 4:00p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
