Goliad Man Missing

A Goliad man is missing inside after a family trip to Colorado.

The Mesa Verde Colorado ranger's office, said 52-year-old Mitchell Dale Stehling was last seen Sunday afternoon when he went on a hike alone. He took the trip with his wife and in-laws. After he was reported missing Sunday, search team looked for him well into the night with no luck. Monday teams were back out searching for him again, this time using helicopters and a search dogs with no luck. Tuesday, a 20-person search team is being called in.

Park officials stated the terrain is rough, but they're concerned about unseasonably hot temperatures that are reaching up to 102-degrees in some areas. It's believed Stehling did not have any water with him. Officials said the next phase of the search depends on what they find Wednesday.
