Pancakes were on the minds of many eaters across the country and in the Crossroads Tuesday. That's because it’s National Pancake Day and the local IHOP celebrated in style.
All day long, free short-stacks are being served to anyone who walks through the doors, and it’s all for a good cause. The sweet treats are free, but IHOP is asking guests to make a small donation, towards the Shriners Hospital for Children. The restaurant does this each year for the organization, helping them save the lives of children each day.
The local restaurant says they raised nearly 2-thousand dollars last year.
If you're in the mood there's still plenty of time. The short-stacks will be served up until 10 Tuesday night.
