VICTORIA, TX — On Thursday, Jackie Stock and her husband, the couple who caught the so-called Chupacabra, said have been getting calls from all over the country asking them about the creature.

As of Thursday night, Stock said she is not sure what she is going to do with it yet.

But the Dewitt County Game Warden is giving them 48-hours to figure out what to do with the little guy.

Stock said after that deadline, she could get fined.

It is illegal to hold a wild animal in captivity in Texas. I and many others reported these people to the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife and the Fish and Game Wardens. I hope they get fined out the wazoo. And this television station is no less to blame. Get that animal to a wildlife rehabber now!

That's no dog. Look how it eats by grasping with its paws, can stand up like a kangaroo or raccoon. She should turn it over to biologists to do a DNA test to determine what kind of animal it is related to.
