Victoria (KAVU) A good night's sleep is key to having a productive day, which is why Ashley Furniture Homestore is looking to donate 4 beds to underprivileged children in the crossroads area.
These kids not only get a new bed, but bed sheets, a blanket and pillows. This is the stores first year doing this event and they said it's very important to the crossroads community to have well-rested children.
“A number of our community is made up of children and in order for our children future to help them succeed a good night sleep is very important. studies have shown that a good night sleep to prepare for tests and sleeping at bed they don't wake up in the middle of the night can be prepared for the next day,” Assistant Manager, Angela Franklin, said.
They're looking specifically for children from 3 to 16 years of age. Now, to nominate a child you can apply in the store or online until Friday, December 27th.
