  • Inside Edition: Police officer caught driving 105 mph in a 65 mph zone

    In 2017, Officer Christopher Ferguson, with the Algood, Tennessee, Police Department crashed into the vehicle of an elderly couple while driving his patrol car off-duty, going home. According to a police report Ferguson was driving 21 mph over the speed limit at the time of the crash. The elderly driver, James Cryer, is now permanently disabled. His wife Rena was a passenger in the car.
