    The Bobcats' offense looks like it can't be stopped. Refugio defeated Yorktown 75-0 in Karnes City on Friday, marking the sixth straight week the team has eclipsed the 55-point threshold.     Industrial football, looking to make as long a run as its volleyball team did in the playoffs. Our David Gibson, at Ricebird stadium for the Cobras and Rice Consolidated, 3a division one bi-district.     It wasn't pretty at times, but the Bulldogs got it done.  Yoakum beat Columbus, 30-13, in Hallettsville on Friday, pulling away in the fourth quarter to punch their ticket to the area round for the second consecutive season.     On a cold, blustery night at Tiger Field, Goliad got the win they wanted -- and needed.  The Tigers defeated the Yoakum Bulldogs, 17-14, on Friday to improve their district record to 4-1 and pull into a first place tie with the Tigers.     In a meeting between 4A powerhouses, Cuero left no doubt. The Gobblers defeated Navarro, 43-7 on Friday to inch closer to the 13-4A division II crown.   • Flyers Drop Second Straight

    After a 4-1 start to the season, the St. Joseph Flyers have dropped two in a row.  Following last week's 40-9 lost against Second Baptist, the Flyers, running into more trouble Friday night at Memorial Stadium. The blue and white were outplayed on both sides of the football, losing to Lutheran South Academy 42-0. The loss drops St. Joe to 4-3 on the season, and 0-1 in district.  Next up for the Flyers will be a trip to Fort Bend Christian Academy in Sugar Land next Friday....

    The Faith Academy Cougars won for the second straight week on Friday, beating Prairie Lea in six-man football to begin their season 2-0.     Despite a three touchdown fourth quarter, the Warriors fell just short.  West lost to San Benito in a shootout on Friday night, 43-41, in front of a packed home crowd in their home opener.
